My Dad and I got all the wiring installed and ready for the engine tonight, along with battery box straps, wired the sub, amp, bilge pump and switch, blower, and mounted the fresh air ducts. Tomorrow I'll get the trim pump fluid replaced and install it, put a coat of epoxy on the engine mount pads, put new seals in the gimbal housing and get that installed. At that point, I'm ready for the engine to get dropped into place! I'll be ordering a transom shift cable tonight. I was hoping I could get by with the one I have, but it has quite a bit of drag, so it has to go. I hope that's the last big $$ I have to spend on this thing. |
