I had other things to do today so not much happened with the boat. I did however get a chance to epoxy, seal and paint the area I hogged out for the transom ski tow mount and the holes in the engine mounts that I drilled incorrectly. They're invisible now. I picked up a 1/2" hex-head bit for removing the pivot housing (so I can connect the trim lines to the manifold). I forgot to get snap ring pliers, so I'll have to pick up that tool tomorrow and I'll be able to remove the exhaust bellows. Then, remove 2 bolts and the pivot housing will come off. That'll expose the trim manifold and the shift cable retaining nut. All this detail work is killing me. I'm ready for the motor to be in and running. Yesterday. |
